Price Quote Details
The Price Quote API allows you to check the pricing of your desired purchase(s) and your Upgrade Eligibility.
Request
Price Quote Requests retrieve pricing details for Devices, Features, and Rate Plans, from the Premier catalog, for SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) you specify.
Service Request Types :
- New — New Device and Service that is assigned a new Customer Telephone Number (CTN)
- Upgrade — New Device for an existing (CTN) whose Device is upgrade eligible
- COAM (Customer Owned And Maintained) — New Service for a Customer Owned Device (BYOD)
Request Pricing Details specific to a customer's account. Items are specified as "alaCarte" (Compatible Devices, Rate Plans, Data Plans, and Accessories) specified as separate SKUs.
Response
Price Quote Requests return a Response that contains the pricing details that were requested. You should not include pricing details in the Request since those details will be included in the Response.
New Devices
When you specify ("type": "New") in the Request, the Price Quote will provide pricing for New Device purchases.
Device Upgrade
When you specify ("type": "Upgrade"), and a mobile number is provided in the Request, the Price Quote Response will provide pricing for Early Upgrades (Upgrades prior to the end of a contract) and Standard Upgrades (Contract completed), as appropriate. If the Mobile Number is not eligible for an Upgrade, the Price Quote Response will specify that as well.
