If there are issues preventing a successful completion of the "port in" process, the partner can use the UpdatePort API to make changes to the port request.

Update Port Activation Dates

If customer wants to change the activation date for their port request due to personal circumstances or scheduling conflicts, the partner can use the UpdatePort API to adjust the activation date.

Multiple Modifications

Suppose that a company notices errors or employee information updates during the port process. Using a series of calls to the UpdatePort API, the partner can change information for several active port requests.
