AT&T MVNX API

Provides the capability to reserve a subscriber number or block of subscriber numbers for a predetermined period. Clients can use the ReserveSubscriberAPI to reserve either a single or multiple subscriber numbers from the same market in a single request.

All requested numbers must come from the same market, but they may cover different service areas. The ReserveSubscriberNumbers API can reserve specific subscriber numbers or assign random numbers.

Use Cases

These are some examples of when a partner would use ReserveSubscriberNumbers to reserve numbers:

New subscriber

When setting up a new subscriber account, in addition to activating the subscriber in the billing system (ActivateSubscriberReseller), a partner can use the ReserveSubscriberNumbers API to assign a phone number to the subscriber’s device(s).  

Temporary number reservations

When a partner is setting up a promotional event or trial services, they can use the ReserveSubscriberNumbers API to reserve a block of random numbers for a predetermined time period.
